The Faculty United

The D'Youville College ​Chapter of the American Association of University Professors has represented full-time faculty at D'Youville College since 1980. United in solidarity, we stand for academic freedom, tenure, shared governance, fair pay, and a safe and fulfilling workplace.

We Believe

Students and faculty are the heart of education. Education is most successful when students feel supported by their institution and safe to explore and when faculty are treated with dignity. Faculty must have the freedom to pursue their research, the security of stable employment, a voice in the policies governing their workplace, and a decent standard of living.
